Who is a good candidate?
There are many factors that determine whether an individual will be a good candidate for Radiesse®, ranging from having good overall health to wanting to improve skin texture and restore facial volume.
Radiesse® usually produces visible results immediately after the treatment, with full effects developing over the next few months when collagen production increases as a result of the treatment.
Based on the individual’s skin condition and the way they maintain their skin, Radiesse® results can last as long as a year or more.
There is minimal downtime with Radiesse®. Injection sites may experience minor swelling, redness, or bruising at the time of injection, but these side effects usually subside within a few hours or days.
Before treatment, avoid blood-thinning medications and alcohol to minimize bruising. After treatment, follow your practitioner’s instructions, avoid strenuous activities, and apply ice to reduce swelling.
Radiesse® treatments use a fine needle to inject the solution into the targeted areas after your practitioner cleans the treatment area. As a result of the injections, there may be some mild discomfort during the procedure, which usually takes about 30-45 minutes.
